Charles Korschann (1872-1943) massive art nouveau vase of glazed and gilt porcelain has white carving of Venus and Cupid with gilt accents against a green field with a stylized floral gilt design on the reverse, further decorated with stylized gilt bronze applied reticulated handles and pedestal foot by Paul-Francois Louchet (1854-1936). Body of vase signed on reverse “CH. KORSCHANN PARIS”, bronze foot with impressed logo “PARIS LOUCHET CISELEUR” and initials “P L” on underside. SIZE: 26-3/4″ t x 15-3/4″ w.
