Wonderful Manhattan aerial streetscape of this manufacturer’s cigar factory with office and sales room located at 270 Bowery between Houston & Prince Streets. Fine detailing includes horse teams pulling street cars, horse drawn carriages and wagons, pedestrians and a sidewalk stacked with crates of cigars. Vignettes portray satisfied customers enjoying their cigars. SIZE: Image: 21″ w x 27″ h. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard J. Miller. CONDITION: Displays near excellent, however close examination reveals professional restoration and repairs to paper loss at margins. Top portion of this sign extending horizontally above the gentleman’s top hat has been torn and repaired with some color touch up. Extreme bottom margin of the original sign was cropped just below the red pin-striping and has been infilled with paper and had color touch up. 1-15084 (400-800) – Lot 1657
