*SCARCE L.C. SMITH GRADE 2.SN 324783. Cal. 12 Ga. 30″ fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked: FULL/IMP MOD. Full length matted rib with brass front bead, marked “HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, NY”. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Nicely figured walnut buttstock is capped full pistol grip with 14-1/2″ LOP over black serrated hard rubber buttplate. Splinter forearm with dog’s head ebony escutcheon and triangular ebony tip, checkered in 3-point pattern. Buttstock checkered in classic 2-point pattern. Receiver lightly scroll engraved in classic Grade 2 pattern with quail on both right and left sides. Bottom of receiver lightly scroll engraved. Trigger guard with a burst of scroll at bow and tang. Weight: 7 lb 13 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. “Andy” Anderson. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refurbished. Bbls retain 95-98% orig bbl blue with a few light handling marks throughout. Receiver retains 70-75% nice orig case color, toned on bottom. Trigger guard retains nearly all of a refurbished blued finish. Buttstock and forearm retain nearly all of their fine orig finish with a few light scratches and handling marks throughout. Mechanics are excellent. Brilliant shiny bores.
