1) Omar Turkish Blend Cigarettes cardboard sign with rendering of two gentleman in tuxedos. In its original wood frame marked at the bottom “Omar Cigarettes”. 2) Nebo Cigarettes cardboard sign with outrageously bejeweled young woman in Egyptian Revival costume perfect for the theater stage. In its original wood frame incised at the bottom “Nebo Cigarettes”. SIZE: 1) Overall: 18-1/2″ w x 25″ h. 2) Overall: 21-1/2″ w x 29-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard J. Miller. CONDITION: 1) Near excellent; gilt lettering on the frame worn off. 2) Good to very good; exhibits prominent moisture stains to the top and right side accompanied by some bends to the cardboard itself. 1-14974 (400-600) – Lot 1648
