The gun is as it should be. *WINCHESTER MODEL 23 GOLDEN QUAIL .410 AS NEW WITH BOX.SN GQ41087E. Cal. 410 ga. 25-1/2″ bbls, 3″ chambers, chokes marked “Q1 & Q2”. Full length matted rib with white plastic front bead, and marked “Golden Quail” near breech. Gold plated single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, automatic safety, straight grip stock, checkered in 2-pt pattern with fleur-de-lis on side panels of nicely figured American walnut, 14-1/4″ LOP over thin Winchester red pad, semi beaver tail forearm, checkered on sides and fleur-de-lis at tip. Forearm with plunger-style release at center. Frame is nicely engraved with setter and quail on left, two flying quail on right and gold bust of quail’s head on bottom all surrounded by tastefully executed light scroll engraving. Bottom of frame also marked “One of 500/Golden Quail”. Housed in orig Winchester shipping box with packing material. WEIGHT: 6lbs 5oz. CONDITION: As new, likely test fired only.
