HAPPY THOUGHT TOBACCO PAPER SIGN.

Extremely scarce sign with fabulous graphics of a U. S. Navy Commissary sailor kneeling dockside behind stacked crates of “Happy Thought” Tobacco, each bearing a paper label in his likeness. A naval ship is under full sail at sea in the background with “Happy Thought” lettered on the bow and its sail. Oval vignette at the top shows the sailor’s sweetheart with his picture in hand captioned “Happy Thought”. Copyright 1884 by Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, N.
