TRANSITIONAL LEMAT REVOLVER. SN 579. Cal. .41, 16ga. Bbl also has the star over “L.M.” markings. Latch for the bbl is not standard. The lightly engraved cylinder does not have a SN, the loading lever and plunger do. The engraved “Col. LeMat Bte S.C.D.C. Paris” is very sharp. The two “C’s” should be “G’s”. Bbl latch is of an unusual form. CONDITION: Metal surface is clean with scattered spots of light surface rust and pitting remaining. Grips are sharp. Action is good. 4-46158 FS725 (17,500-25,000)
