VERY RARE LEMAT 2D MODEL CARBINE.

VERY RARE LEMAT 2D MODEL CARBINE. SN 63. Cal. .41, 19-11/16″ half oct. bbl and Cal. .48, 19-1/2″ round bbl, all matching. Marked “SYSTme LEMAT Bte S.C.D.G. PARIS” on top of the bbl and “:/LM” on the right side of the bbl. There are two bbl bands, which contain the pipes for the ramrod. Rear sight has one solid and one folding leaf with a high front sight to match. The ears on the nose of the hammer help to align the sight picture. CONDITION: Brown patina on the bbl is very thin there is some scattered light pitting. Frame and cylinder have light pitting over all. Has minor cracks at the upper tang but is otherwise fine. 4-46948 FS735 (45,000-75,000)
