Scarce Rene Lalique fountain statue is a molded clear and frosted glass figure of the Greek mythological figure Melite, daughter of river God Aegaeus and mistress of Hercules, in flowing robes with a fish held in her hands, statue accompanied by a contemporary wooden base. Signed on the base, “R. Lalique France”. SIZE: Statue 22″ t, base 4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a Paris, France collection.
