CAMEO GLASS WINTER SCENE VASE.

Cameo glass vase has cameo and enameled winter scene decoration with barren trees and snow covered ground set against a yellow shading to orange background. The vase is further decorated with enameled patches of snow clinging to the trees. While the vase is signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy”, we do not believe this is actually a Daum piece. We think this is more likely a Lamartine vase from the period. SIZE: 10″ t. CONDITION: Very good with some minor pitting around the lip as well as grinding on the lip. This vase was blown from the top as a result the roughness from the pontil had to be ground off. 51879-12 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1634
