*BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE.

SN 115590. Cal. 410 26″ steel bbls. 2-1/2″ chambers. Choked: FULL/FULL. Full length matted rib with brass front bead. Bbls marked “L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE / HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M’F’R’S FULTON, NY. USA”. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Straight grained walnut, capped full pistol grip stock with 14″ LOP over serrated black hard rubber buttplate. Checkered in classic 2-point pattern. Splinter forearm checkered in standard 3-point pattern. Lockplates marked “L.C. SMITH” on both right and left sides. Weight: 5 lb 12 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. “Andy” Anderson. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near mint. Bbls retain nearly all their orig bbl blue with a few handling marks. Receiver retains nearly all of its bright bold and vivid orig case color with only minute high point edge wear. Trigger guard and forend iron are extremely fine and retain 95-98% orig blue. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, with scattered light handling marks, retain 95-98% orig varnish. Mechanics are excellent. Brilliant shiny bores.
