SN 75024. Cal. 5x57mm? 24″ Custom tapered round bbl has no marks or stampings, is fitted with one standing, one folding leaf rear sight in island base. Commercial Mauser action with square bridge is fitted with factory claw mounts and detent mount in bridge. Pear-shaped bolt handle is dished for scope clearance. Bottom metal with hinged floorplate has lever release, and is fitted with double set triggers. Nicely figured and streaked European walnut stock has replacement horn buttplate, horn grip cap, and a black walnut forend tip. PROVENANCE: The Timothy Scott Collection. CONDITION: Good. Metal parts are considerably silvered from heavy hand wear. There are some deep pits on left side of bbl. Stock refinished and somewhat below metal.
