ASSEMBLED COLT BUNTLINE WITH SHOULDER STOCK. SN 28056. Cal. .45LC, 11-15/16″ round bbl. Numbers on the backstrap, triggerguard, cylinder and bbl have been changed to match. Bbl is from a 2nd Generation Buntline. Numbers on the inside of the ejector rod housing appear to be the correct size. Hammer screw is incorrect, stock is slightly oversized. There appears to be a welded spot on the left side of the frame. Factory letter shows that this SN was shipped to B. Kittredge & Company in Cincinnati 1 November 1876. There were 39 of these guns in the shipment. CONDITION: Artificially brown patina. Wood grips show normal wear, the stock retains most of the nickel finish. 4-47151 FS415 (1,500-2,500)
