Le Verre Francais nightlight in the Azurettes pattern has cobalt blue cameo decoration of spheres of flowers hanging from limbs descending from the top of the shade. Shade is further decorated with a cameo honeycomb band encircling the fitter all set against a frosted mottled light blue background. Shade rests on its original hammered metal base with three stylized leaf design feet. Signed on the lip “Le Verre Francais”. This nightlight is pictured in the catalog raisonne Charles Schneider by Joulin/Maier, pg. 133. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: The Susan & Roy Bittan Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.
