*BEAUTIFUL EARLY A.H. FOX B GRADE.

SN 9141. 12 ga. 28″ Krupp fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked: CYL/FULL. Full length matted rib with steel front bead, bbls marked “KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE BY / A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA.PA”. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock with 13-13/16″ LOP over orig lined hard rubber buttplate. Checkered in 2-point pattern with checkered side panels. Splinter forearm with Deeley release, half checkered in 2-point pattern surrounding opener. Receiver is lightly engraved with light scroll engraving with quail on left, woodcock on right. Both sides marked “ANSLEY H. FOX”. Bottom of receiver and trigger guard lightly scroll engraved. Bbls are #2 weight. Weight: 7 lb 2 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Bbls retain 90-95% beautiful orig bbl blue with a few light rub marks. Buttstock and forearm retain 85-90% orig varnish with a few scattered light handling marks and scratches. Buttplate with minor loss at toe. Receiver retains approx 40-50% bright orig case color. Trigger guard retains 65-70% of its orig high polished blue, toning at tang. Mechanics are excellent.
