SN 23118. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ Krupp fluid steel bbls, 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked MOD/FULL. Full length matted rib with white plastic mid bead, front bead is absent. Bbls marked “Krupp Fluid Steel Made By/A.H. Fox Gun Co. Phila. PA.” Double triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock with 14-1/8″ LOP over new red Silvers pad, checkered in two point pattern with checkered side panels. Splinter forend with Deeley release and triangular ebony tip, checkered in two point pattern. Receiver nicely scroll and game scene engraved, with two quail on left, two woodcock on right, dog on bottom, all surrounded by nice scroll work in typical C grade pattern. Weight: 6 lbs. 14 oz. CONDITION: Excellent as partially refurbished. Bbls retain 97-98% restored blue finish with a few light scattered pinprick pits that were not struck out during refinishing. Receiver retains 25-30% orig case color which is mostly mottled. Buttstock and forearm have been excellently refinished with various light handling marks and scratches, checkering chased.
