*NEAR MINT L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE 16 GAUGE.SN FW190029. Cal. 16 ga. 28″ Armor Steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked mod/full. Full length matted tapered rib with brass mid and front beads, right tube marked “L.C. Smith Field Grade”, bottom of bbl flats also marked “US”. Featherweight frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-1/8″ LOP over serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Splinter forend checkered in 3-point pattern. Unengraved receiver marked “L.C. Smith” on both sides. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 12oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine near new retaining nearly all original factory finish to both wood and metal. Bbls retain nearly all their lightly toned original blue with couple minute handling marks. Receiver retains virtually all its bright, bold original case color. Buttstock and forearm with couple of minor impressions retain nearly all their original finish. Minute repair in buttplate at toe that is nearly imperceptible. Trigger guard and forearm iron retain 95%+ original blue with just a hint of toning. Mechanics are crisp. Brilliant shiny bores.
