*SCARCE A.H. FOX XE GRADE.SN 29317. Cal. 12 Ga. 28″ bbls. 2-5/8″ chambers. Choke: CYL / IMP CYL. Full length matted rib with twin “certifiable pre-ban ivory” beads. Bbls marked “CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL / MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO PHILA PA USA”. No. 4 weight bbls. Single selective trigger, auto ejectors, non-automatic safety. Full pistol grip stock with 13-3/4″ LOP from rear position single trigger over modern “London Guns” red recoil pad. Beavertail forend. Beautifully figured marble cake honey colored walnut stocks are checkered in typical X pattern. Pistol grip cap is orig. “A.H. Fox Gun Co Philadelphia PA” marked. Receiver engraved in beautiful full coverage oak leaf pattern with two quail on right, two ducks on left, full fox on bottom. Frame engraved at single trigger selector with gold “R” and “L”. Trigger guard engraved in oak leaf pattern with initial shield on bow. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished. Bbls and trigger guard retain nearly all of a restored blue. Receiver retains virtually all of its faithfully restored case colors. Buttstock retains virtually all of restored finish with minor handling marks. Beavertail forend likely a later addition, shows a repair on right side near frame and is a tad loose- an easy fix. Ejectors in need of repair as they will not snap. Single trigger works.
