*SCARCE L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE 12 GAUGE TWO BARREL SET.SN S32989. Cal. 12 ga. (1) 26″ London steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked imp cyl/full. Full length raised matted rib with brass front bead. Left tube marked “L.C. Smith – 12ga. – Ideal – Fulton, NY, USA”. (2) 28″ London steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked mod/full. Full length raised matted rib with brass front bead. Left tube marked “L.C. Smith – 12ga. – Ideal – Fulton, NY, USA”. Featherweight marked frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with 14-1/8″ LOP over serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern. Splinter forearms with roll type releases checkered in 3-point patterns with ebony horn tips. Receiver engraved in standard Ideal floral pattern with zig zag pattern on lockplates. WEIGHT: (1) bbl set 7lbs. 6oz. (2) bbl set 7lbs. 7oz. CONDITION: Very good. Both bbls show factory quality restoration and retain nearly all of that custom blue finish. Buttstock and forearm are sound and retain nearly all of a high gloss restored finish, minor separation behind left lockplate has been correctly restored. Receiver retains about 20% original case colors. Mechanics are very good. Bores are bright and shiny in both sets of bbls.
