PARKER GRADE 2 12 GA HAMMER GUN.

SN 32642. 12 Ga. 30″ Damascus bbls. 2-5/8″ chambers. Choked: IMP CYL/IMP CYL. Full length Damascus ribbed with steel front bead marked “PARKER BROS., MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. No. 2 frame. Double triggers, extractors, no safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with 14-1/4″ LOP over Parker Bros DHBP. Buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with nickel shield on top, straight top lever. Splinter forend with Deeley release, checkered in standard Grade 2 pattern. Receiver lightly scroll engraved with 2 birds on each side. Bottom of frame with woodcock in scene surrounded by light scroll. Trigger guard with a light burst of scroll on bow. Nickel plated triggers. Weight: 9 lb 1 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. “Andy” Anderson. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refurbished. Damascus bbls retain nearly all of a bold contrast restored finish and are a chocolate color. Receiver retains about 50% case color overall. Sideplates retain nearly all their orig case colors. Bottom of frame has toned with bright orig case color on trigger plate. Trigger guard retains nearly all of its restored blue. Buttstock and forearm retain nearly all of a restored finish with checkering filled though fully present. Buttplate, which may be a replacement, is excellent. Mechanics are very good.
