COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY CONVERSION REVOLVER. SN 60245. Cal. .38CF, 5-1/2″ oct. bbl. Original patent dates on the frame. The letter “D” has been stamped at the SN in all locations. Wedge is a replacement. Last three digits of the SN and the D are also stamped on the loading gate. CONDITION: Retains about 95% nickel on the bbl, cylinder and frame. There is no finish on the replacement ejector rod. Grip straps have about 70% silver and have a large replaced chip on the left side and many dents and gouges. 4-47132 FS407 (900-1,500)
