*SCARCE L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE 20 GAUGE.SN FWE25056. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ fluid steel bbl. 2-1/2″ chambers. Choked mod/full. Full length matted rib with brass front bead. Featherweight frame. Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, 3-position automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip stock with 14-1/2″ LOP over modern Silvers pad. Splinter forearm with banjo roll type release and ebony tip checkered in 3-point pattern. Gun is engraved in standard Specialty Grade pattern, with quail on left, ducks on right, surrounded by light scroll and marked “L.C. Smith” on both sides. WEIGHT: 5lbs. 14oz. CONDITION: Very good as partially refurbished. Bbls retain nearly all of their refurbished blued finish with scattered freckling and pits, particularly on left tube. Buttstock and forearm have been refinished, checkering re-cut and retain nearly all of their restored finish with a few light handling marks and some minor shrinkage at stock head. Received retains 40-50% light original case color. Trigger guard has been re-blued. Action with a hint of looseness. Bores are bright and shiny.
