VERY FINE COLT MODEL 1878 SHERIFF’S MODEL REVOLVER. SN 9786. Cal. .44-40, 4″ round bbl. Marked “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” in an etched panel on the left side of the bbl. CONDITION: 80% flaky blue overall, bright blue on the trigger and hammer. Grips are sharp but slightly faded in color. There is some minor scratching around the hammer screw. 4-47178 FS391 (2,000-3,000)
