SN 97657. Cal. 28 Ga. 27″ bbls (possibly reduced to this length). 2-5/8″ chambers. Choked: IMP MOD/IMP MOD. Full length matted rib with “certifiable pre-ban ivory” front bead, marked “PARKER BROTHERS, MAKERS MERIDEN, CONN. VULCAN STEEL”. No. 0 frame. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Straight grip stock with 2-point checkering and 14″ LOP over Parker Brothers DHBP. Nickel shield in stock. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and metal tip. Engraved in typical VH pattern with zig-zag border and “PARKER BROS” engraved on both sides. Weight: 6 lb 1 oz. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 95-97% of what is likely an older restored blued finish. Buttstock and forearm have been expertly refurbished and retain nearly all of their custom finish with a few light handling marks and scratches. Trigger guard has been reblued and retains most of its restored finish. Receiver has turned mostly brown and gray with a hint or two of what could be orig case color. Forearm iron with new case color to outside metal, though orig on inside. Buttplate is slightly worn, particularly at heel, but overall very good. Mechanics are very good.
