STEVENS WALNUT HILL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. Standard rifle with 25-3/4″ oct. to round bbl, silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight with checkered edges, case colored receiver, uncheckered wood, straight stock with crescent buttplate. Top flat has scope base holes. SN 29344. CONDITION: About good. Bbl, with mis-matched SN, retains about 75-80% strong bright original blue with scattered spots of pitting near the muzzle. Receiver retains 60-70% faded case colors with the balance turning brown. Wood is sound, stock an old replacement and all together retains most of an old refinish.
