SN 716830. Cal. 45 ACP. 5″ bbl. Deep commercial bright blue finish overall. Ventilated rib on top of slide with loaded chamber indicator and adjustable rear sight. 2-pc checkered walnut grips with commercial Llama medallion grips. Commercial Spanish copy of the Colt 1911 pistol. Marked “Llama Cal. 45” on left side of slide. Right side of slide marked “GABILONDO Y CIA. VITORIA (ESPANA)”. Spanish proof marks are found on back right of slide to rear of sight as well as on frame at trigger guard. Marked “Made in Spain” on mainspring housing bottom. PROVENANCE: The Advance Collection of Gerard A. Ruth formerly of Alex Chauffe Sr. and Jack Whitaker. CONDITION: Very fine overall, showing little use with very minor finish loss at muzzle and high points of safety and butt. Bore and mechanics are bright and crisp. 51036-18 TDW (350-500) – Lot 1593
