*PARKER DHE GAME GUN.SN 234602. Cal. 12 Ga. 30″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked: CYL/MOD. Full length matted rib with twin “certifiable pre-ban ivory” beads. Bbls marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN CT USA TITANIC STEEL”. No. 1-1/2 frame. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Straight grip stock with 14-3/4″ LOP over Pachmayr waffle pad. Nickel shield in stock with initials that are not discernible. Splinter forend with Deeley release. Stocks are of a beautiful contrasting European walnut with great grain and flow. Gun is engraved with a Pointer on left and Setter on right and surrounded by scroll in standard Parker DHE pattern. Four pheasants in scene on trigger plate, also surrounded by scroll. Buttstock with checkered side panels and 2-point checkering is likely a period replacement though checkering does have a mullered border and this work was probably done by Larry Del Grego. Weight: 7 lb 8 oz. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Very fine, as refurbished likely by Larry Delgrego. Bbls retain 90-95% restored finish with light handling marks and minor pock marks at forearm. Receiver retains 80-85% refurbished cyanide case colors. Trigger guard retains nearly all of its refinished blue. Buttstock and forend, with light handling marks and repairs, retain around 90% of their custom hand rubbed finish. Mechanics are sound.
