Duffner & Kimberly table lamp in the Elizabethan pattern has square leaded shade with large purple glass shield shaped panels in the center of each side panel with cream and lilac striated glass scrolls surrounding the shield. All against a dark blue background. Shade is finished with a narrow skirt of vertical geometric panels forming an irregular border. Shade is signed with an applied tag “The Duffner & Kimberly Co. New York”. Shade rests on an ornate cast metal base with matching shield and scroll decoration. Base is finished with a 4 socket cluster and ornate cast metal square cap. Signed on the post under the socket cluster. SIZE: Shade is 20-1/4″ sq. Lamp is 18-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with a few tight hairlines primarily in the skirt panels. Base is very good and appears to have been re-gilded. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 49667-6 (17,000-20,000) – Lot 1582
