FINE COLT 1860 ARMY REVOLVER WITH BRITISH PROOFS. SN 153649. Cal. .44. 8″ round bbl. Iron backstrap and trigger guard, cut for shoulder stock. Two British proof marks at the rear of bbl. and at each chamber of the cylinder. CONDITION: 80% bright blue on the bbl. with speckles of light surface rust. 50% colors on the rear of the cylinder, backstrap and trigger guard, traces on the front of the cylinder, which has a good cylinder scene. Good case hardening colors on the sides of the frame, hammer and loading lever, the front of the loading lever and recoil shield have mostly silvered out. Grips are excellent with minor dents.
