GALLE CAMEO AND ENAMELED VASE.

Early Galle cylindrical vase with pinched tri-foil rim is decorated with cameo and enameled flower stems of green and pink leading to full blossoms of pink, purple and burgundy flowers with yellow highlights. Decoration is nicely contrasted with leaves and accents that are not enameled, as well as cameo flowers and starbursts on the interior of the vase, all against a translucent blue background shading from darker foot to lighter rim. Signed on the underside in cameo starburst with gilt “Emile Galle Nancy” and “Modele et decor Depose” below. SIZE: 8-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 51962-5 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 1573
