2nd half 19th century. American. Delicately carved in a very fluid Louis XV style, with elaborately detailed shell, scroll foliate and floral elements. Back centering a finely rendered basket of flowers continuing with vines and flower clusters across the back and arms. Original cane seat intact. SIZE: 41″ x 20″ x 33-1/2″ h.
