*WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 50 Express. Standard grade rifle with 26″ round bbl, reverse mounted ivory bead hunting front sight, flat top open rear sight and spring loaded marbles tang sight. Bbl and receiver have British proofs with a small No. 4 stamped on the both sides of the receiver. It has half-magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and checkered steel buttplate. SN 132713. CONDITION: Good. Traces of original finish remains in sheltered areas being mostly a mottled dark brown patina with light surface rust. Wood shows heavy wear, no original finish remains, missing a couple small chips, has a crack in the forearm and several dings in the stock. Bright shiny bore.
