Daum miniature vase is decorated with a cameo and enameled heron with a frog in its mouth and 2 other frogs jumping into a pond depicting Aesop’s “The Frogs Who Desired A King” Fable. Backside of vase is decorated with cameo and enameled flowers with red petals and green leaves and stems, all set against an acid textured white opalescent background. Vase is finished with 2 applied clear glass handles. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 1-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 49774-17 (1,750-2,250) – Lot 1570
