SN 231CS01497. 20 ga. 27-1/2″ bbls, 2-3/4″ chambers CHOKED: Mod. Full length matted low profile ventilated rib with steel front bead. Gold plated trigger, buttstock is “RKLT” configuration with 14-3/16″ LOP over Browning plastic buttplate and checkered in 2-pt pattern. Buttstock is beautiful, flame grained American walnut. Forend checkered and 4-pt pattern. Receiver is beautifully engraved with quail in scene on left surrounded by scroll and woodcock in scene on right surrounded by scroll. Right side marked in script “Made in Belgium”, left side marked “Original Auto 5”. Bottom of left receiver marked with engravers signature “Romainville B.” The receiver is gray, which makes a stunning background for the well executive engraving. This gun comes with a Browning Custom Shop hard case. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, near new. Nearly all original finish to both wood and metal. Likely test fired only, and according to our consignor, has not been assembled outside of the factory until photographed at Julia’s. 49364-1 JSL241 (4,500-7,500) – Lot 1569
