Important Galle vase has large wheel carved leaf on the bulbous foot and additional wheel carved leaves climbing the neck of the vase. The vase is further decorated with a wheel carved spider sitting in the middle of its engraved spider web which hangs within the leaves. The cameo decoration is purple shading to red against a clear background. Signed on the underside with elaborate cameo signature “Emile Galle Cristallerie Nancy” along with a cameo leaf.
