Galle vase with saucer foot is a superior example, decorated with deeply cut cameo oak tree branches, leaves and acorns surrounding a large stag beetle resting on a limb, all in brown and vibrant green with an under-layer of bright yellow giving excellent contrast, set against a cream colored acid-textured ground.
