*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44WCF. Standard grade rifle with 24″ round bbl, full magazine, half-nickel front sight with semi-buckhorn rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. SN 418081. CONDITION: Excellent, plus. Metal retains 98-99% strong bright original blue with some very fine, light scattered surface rust on the receiver and foreend cap. Stock has a hairline at the right wrist and is missing a small sliver at the upper tang. Otherwise, wood is sound and retains most of its original factory varnish with light surface handling and storage marks. Appears to have vibrated against something small and painted while laying on its left side. Brilliant, shiny bore. 4-47006 JR407 (2,750-3,750)
