Late 19th early 20th century, England or Europe. The rectangular frame with rolled headrest and opposing footrest each joined to the hand caned seat with ridged and fluted edge, raised on 8 molded and turned cabriole legs joined by floral carved serpentine stretchers and with 4 rope twist cross stretchers. SIZE: Overall 33″ h. (seat 16″ h.) approximately 75″ l. CONDITION: Over upholstered ends and padded seat cushion in original floral fabric, now lightly soiled and faded, original caning intact, frame retains original surface, one stretcher with split at juncture of leg, in need of reattaching, otherwise good. 9-96251 (600-800) – Lot 1566
