1) Watercolor and gouache Housed in a gold leaf molded wood frame within oval mat (frame with losses) Unsigned 2) Drypoint with watercolor highlights Housed in a gilt modern frame having an Alice Dodge English Watercolors & Drawings label on verso Possibly signed & dated lower left Verso having in pen “By Bauernbeck?? Kingh” SIZE: 1) Sight: 7/-3/4″ x 9-1/2″. Overall: 12-1/4″ x 14-3/4″. 2) 7-1/2″ x 9″. Overall: 12″ x 13-3/4″ CONDITION: 1) There is an oval cut in the watercolor corresponding to the curve of the oval mat additionally running perpendicular to the crescent cut is now a repaired tear of approximately 2-1/2″ long. 2) Generally good, some foxing in area of sky upper left corner. Later inscription on reverse can be seen from the front in the central sky area 50558-10 (500-700) – Lot 1564
