*SCARCE PRE-WAR GRADE ONE SUPERPOSE.SN 836. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbl. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked full/full. Full length matted low profile ventilated rib with steel front bead. Breech end of rib marked “G.A. Bondi & Sons Cairo”. Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with early Browning superposed hard rubber buttplate. Round nose forearm checkered in 4-point pattern. Receiver is lightly engraved with ducks in marsh on left side, pheasants in field on right side, surrounded by light scroll and fancy border pattern. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 7oz. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Gentleman Collector Herbert Hyatt CONDITION: Very good as partially refurbished. Bbls retain 95-97% of what is likely restored blue. Buttstock and forearm are very good with added finish and checkering somewhat filled in particularly at grip, forearm wood slightly shrunken at frame, small plugged hole in butt at toe.
