JAMES KONTES ROSE & BUD PAPERWEIGHT.

James Kontes rose paperweight having a large dimensional yellow rose with two yellow buds on either side of rose supported by green stems and leaves. Design sits on a bed of upset pink ribbon on a transparent green ground. Signed within design with a “JK” cane. SIZE: 3″ x 2-1/4″ deep. CONDITION: One green leaf is separated from the stem to right of rose, one stem of bud is separated at lower right. There is a rough spot on the side of base from the making. There is some carbon residue on buds and flower. Flower sits on a large air trap. 50397-46 (1,800-2,200) – Lot 1559
