Daum vase has wheel-carved cameo decoration of brown stems and leaves leading to delicate red flowers, all set against an internally decorated mottled yellow background. Vase is further decorated with all over martele carving in the background. Signed on the edge of foot with carved signature “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine as well as engraved “France”. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, there is an indentation on side of foot as result of an open bubble from the making. 49698-9 (4,000-5,000) – Lot 1558
