Patented December, 1868 #84,636 by C.B. Loveless. The tin stepped column with interior removable cylinder is affixed with water intake tubes and is hand painted with inventor’s name and “Hydrogen & Petrolium (sic) Gas”. Retains original patent tag (deteriorated with a fair amount of edge loss, but is mostly legible). SIZE: 11-1/4″ h x 8″ w. CONDITION: Generally good with uniform wear and paint chips. 1-14543 (600-1,200) – Lot 1548
