*WINCHESTER LIGHTWEIGHT MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45-70. Standard grade rifle with 22″ tapered round bbl, pedestal mounted ivory bead hunting front sight, flat topped bbl sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and Winchester hard rubber buttplate. SN 135817. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and mag tube retain 85-90% dark original blue. Receiver, traces of original blue in sheltered areas with the balance a gray-brown patina. Wood is sound, shows much wear but no abuse, being a fine hand-worn patina. Magazine tube cap is a flat replacement. Strong bright bore that appears to have some light frosting but may clean. 4-46091 JR385 (1,250-1,750)
