DAUM NANCY CAMEO PEACOCK VASE.

Desirable Daum vase is decorated with cameo peacock feathers having traces of vitrified yellow and green highlights extending up the vase. Each of the eight peacock eyes have padded deep violet centers with turquoise and yellow outlines, all set against an acid-textured background of mottled purple shading up to a rich blue. Most vases of this pattern have very pale background color, the rich blue on this example is exceptional. Signed on the side of foot with carved “Daum Nancy” and Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 7″ t.
