Daum triangular shaped dish has cameo and enameled scene of snow covered ground and trees with four enameled blackbirds in flight and seven enameled blackbirds perched in a tree, all against a light blue frosted background. Signed on the underside in enamel “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. Engraved on the outside edge is “Auch Wir Winterschwalberln Bringen Gluck”. SIZE: 5-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with two microscopic fleabites to the top edge. 1101-53 (6,000-8,000) – Lot 1540
