GROUP OF THREE CIRCA 1850 SINGLE SHOT EUROPEAN PERCUSSION PISTOLS.SN 9/16/NSN. 1) Pair of 9″ single shot pistols with relief carved and silver wire inlaid pistols with 4-1/4″ fully oct damascene bbls, 50 cal smooth bore. 2) Unusual percussion Parlour Target pistol w/raised 5mm smooth bore bbl, fully oct with iron ramrod attached under bbl. Engraved frame, spurred trigger guard, varnished checkered grips. These were shot indoors with just a cap and small ball. CONDITION: 1) Very good overall, metal is gray, numbered on several parts “9” and the other “16”. Stocks are both refinished with SN 6 having glued repaired break near butt, carving and inlays unaffected. 2) Very good overall, gray metal with staining and pitting, stocks are sound and well fit, retaining about 90% original bright factory varnish.
