Most unique piece of inlaid miniature furniture comprised of three drawers with brass pulls beneath a curved top desk area containing three felt lined drawers with leather pulls. This is topped by a 2-door cabinet with elaborate brass lock cartouches. Doors open to reveal and overhead type door decorated with two playing cards marked “Rachel” and “Alexandre” that lifts to reveal a carved wooden figure holding a basket. Overhead door can be locked into place through an access panel on the reverse. SIZE: 7-1/4″ w x 15-1/2″ h x 4-1/2″ d.
