Image Lot Price Description

SN 120053P. Cal. 380. One of the rarest of Walther’s PP’s is the Persian contract. This gun has the magazine release on the bottom of the frame as opposed to the traditional push-button magazine release. The Walther Banner and typical slide markings are on the right side of the slide as opposed to the left. This is the only Walther PP done this way. This was to facilitate for the Persian Pahlavi crowned lion crest surrounded by Persian inscription. 2-pc Walther Banner black plastic grips with both Walther magazines, one flat base, the other with finger rest. Housed in a Persian PP Walther holster. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with very slight finish loss at muzzle end of slide from holster use. Typical edge wear from light carry and finish on front and rear straps is thinning. Bore and mechanics are sharp and crisp. Exceptionally rare and rarely encountered, this is one of the finest examples I have ever seen. Holster reddish heavy grained leather with white cotton stitching is in the pattern of a two-thirds scale Luger holster. Inside of holster has strong witness mark indicating this gun has lived in this holster for quite some time. 51044-1 TDW (4,000-6,000) C&R – Lot 1532
