SQUAREBACK COLT NAVY. 2nd model with screw over the wedge, SN 2464 all matching. CONDITION: Wedge and loading lever/rammer screw modern replacements, all other parts original. Wedge and cylinder numbers over struck at the time of manufacture using the original dies, obviously a period corrected Factor “mess-up”. Steel parts with a very dark deep age patina with overall scattered very light pitting. Cylinder with partially visible scene, backstrap and triggerguard with age toning and about 15% blackened heavy silver plated finish. Very good to fine varnished walnut grips with some oil staining. 4-46216 (2,750-3,750)
